Many companies have been allowed to open in level 4 lockdown with strict protocols in place.

As South Africa enters its first week of level 4 lockdown, many companies are able to open their doors again. It is expected that more than one million people will be heading back to their places of work today. Some companies are allowed to open in this relaxed phase of the lockdown, as long as they have very strict hygiene protocols in place. These include screenings of all workers as they enter office buildings, sanitizing stations that are readily available and social distancing being followed and promoted between employees.
