The album was originally due in January 2021, but it had to be pushed back after Drake hurt his knee and was unable to finish recordings. In a clip from his discussion of the album on URLTV, Drake did confirm that his album will be out by the end of the American summer, which means by the end of winter in South Africa. “Certified Lover Boy” will be Drake’s 5th studio album.
