If they can pull this off, they will be the true leader in the wearable tech space.

Reports are claiming that Apple is very close to adding a reliable and accurate blood sugar monitor to its Apple Watch devices. According to Bloomberg, Apple has been working on a blood sugar sensor since 2017 already. The most groundbreaking part of the sensor is that it won’t require any finger pricking. It will use technology to scan glucose levels through the skin. The feature won’t be available for commercial use for a few years still though, but apparently they are planning to trial it at some hospitals. If Apple can pull this off, they will have a feature that no other wearable tech company could get right just yet, making them a true industry leader.
