Many internet users woke up to find massive chunks of the internet unreachable on Monday. Sites like Amazon, Reddit and Twitch were all down and for a while, no one knew what was going on. It seems that they all use a cloud delivery network card Fastly to improve their site speed. Fastly experienced problems which led to severe downtime earlier this and apparently, that left these websites unreachable. Luckily, the issue was soon rectified and the major websites were available once again.
