They feature more inclusivity, the AirPods Max and a vaccine-friendly syringe.

As part of iOS 14.5, Apple is adding new emojis to their software. The new emojis are more inclusive, seeing as they offer more skin tone variations and emojis where facial hair is available on most different icons. They are also rolling out new “couples kissing” emojis, which sees diverse partners exchanging caring affections. Other than that, they have edited the syringe emoji to no longer look like it is drawing blood, but rather have a clear fluid in it – meant to reflect vaccines. Their new AirPod Max headphones are also getting their very own emoji.
