Banksy has shown his support for the Black Lives Matter movement, saying “people of colour are being failed by the system”. The painting depicts a vigil and a candle burning next to it, which also is setting an American flag alight. Over the past weekend, thousands of people over the world joined hands in protests to stand n solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement. This comes after the tragic death of George Floyd, who died at the hands of police officers in the USA.
