Companies like HP, Formlabs and Carbon have joined forces to create contactless print stations in hospitals around the globe.

Several companies like HP, Formlabs and Carbon have joined forces to create 3D-printed medical masks, shields and other essential health items to fight the shortage caused by the coronavirus. The companies are working on ways to install contactless 3D-printing stations at strategic locations, like hospitals around the world, so that staff members can have easy access to these essentials. Other companies that have 3D printers, like Ford’s headquarters in the USA, are also making 3D-printed medical gear and shipping it to hospitals. The car manufacturer said it aims to produce about 100 000 masks a week soon.
